Telcomplus Montreal installs and maintains structured cabling, fibre optic and network infrastructure for businesses in Montreal and across Quebec. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to meet Quebec’s privacy law (Loi 25) and, where it applies, Canadian federal privacy law.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit a quote or contact form we collect your name, email address, telephone number, and the message or project details you provide.
- Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the site that referred you. Google Analytics uses cookies.
- We do not collect payment information on this site, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 14 years of age.
Why we collect it
- to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote;
- to arrange a site survey or schedule work;
- to understand which services visitors look for, so we can improve this website;
- to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Consent
We collect your information with your consent, which you give by submitting a form on this site. You may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us. If you do, we will stop using your information, except for records we are legally required to keep.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 cookies to measure traffic. They do not identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time and the site will continue to work normally. We do not run advertising or behavioural profiling cookies.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent personal information. We use service providers who process it on our behalf: Google (website analytics), Cloudflare (hosting and form delivery), and our email provider. These providers may store data on servers outside Quebec, including in the United States. We require them to protect it to a comparable standard.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 24 months. If you become a client, we keep your information for the duration of our business relationship, and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting rules require.
How we protect it
Information is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection, access is limited to the people who need it to answer your request, and we keep our systems up to date.
Your rights
You may ask to:
- see the personal information we hold about you;
- correct it if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
- have it deleted;
- receive it in a structured, commonly used format (portability);
- withdraw your consent to its use.
